Stories through oral, graphic, written, or multimedia texts are one of the most powerful means we have to capture, interpret, and share our experiences as human beings. From early childhood to adulthood, we use stories to share and connect with others emotionally, because they tell our actions, goals and intentions and how we feel about them.
We as teachers must look for different strategies to get the interest and attention of the students. One of the main strategies to teach narrative stories is that the topic of reading is interesting that through the title students show interest in the history they are going to read, teachers also need to have a good tone of voice and body management because by using different nuances and movements students can show more interest in what they are seeing and listening to. Now we must not forget that the place or site where we are going to develop reading is important because this must be a pleasant environment and that noise does not interfere in reading and finally it is important to involve students in reading , allow them to read a few paragraphs and recognize the good work they do.
